Delaware is a small state, and its cities and towns are spread across just three counties. Dissolution Of Marriage cases are filed at the Family Court in the county where a party lives. Wilmington, Newark, Middletown, Delaware City, and New Castle send their cases to the Family Court in Wilmington. Dover and Harrington file in the Family Court in Dover.
