Delaware Counties

Delaware has three counties, and each one runs its own Family Court that handles Dissolution Of Marriage cases. The Family Court Records Department in each county keeps the case files and processes copy requests. Fees are the same statewide at $4.00 for certified copies and $1.00 for plain copies, but each office has its own phone line and counter hours. Historical records from before 1978 sit with the county Prothonotary or at the Delaware Public Archives in Dover.
